As part of the Big Switch Off, the UK-wide stop sell on 5th September means that copper-based services such as ISDN are now no longer available for purchase. This includes WLR Single Lines, Multi Lines, ISDN2, ISDN30 and ADSL (SMPF), FTTC and G.Fast.
Pre-existing legacy services can still be used until switched off in January 2027, but you cannot source any new services, or modify existing ones. You also cannot add services to an existing line or move a line with the same exchange area.
Businesses are now being operationally impacted by this, increasing project budgets and extending timelines. The sooner you act, the fewer hurdles you will face such as reduced options, increased disruption and higher costs.
As we approach the final switch-off date of the analogue network (January 2027), Openreach intends to increase the rental price of the impacted services throughout the course of 2026.
We have been notified that these price increases will be implemented via the following schedule:
1st April 2026: 20% increase to all WLR and ancillary products*
1st July 2026: 40% increase to all WLR and ancillary products*
1st October 2026: 40% increase to all WLR and ancillary products*
*Impacted services for the price change:
Analogue telephone lines, Multiline and ISDN circuits
All ancillary services attached to the above products (e.g. Care Levels and functionality services such s Call Forwarding)
Haven Communications can and will guide you through the whole process to make it as easy as possible, resulting in a communications solution that won’t be affected by The Big Switch Off and actually improves business performance.

If you have a lift line or analogue line that underpins another service, this can be migrated, but likely on a higher tariff and subject to changes further down the line.

The Cloud also upgrades your business continuity and increases security, and if a line fails then it can be set to automatically switch over to another.
